Lufthansa Airlines is a German airline founded in 1953. The airline commenced operations in 1954 and is headquartered at Cologne, Germany. It operates its base at Frankfurt Airport and has its primary hub at the same airport and has its secondary hub at Munich Airport. Lufthansa serves 18 domestic and 203 international destinations in six continents. The airline ranks fourth in terms of passengers with its services to over 410 destinations along with its parent airlines. Ryanair is an Irish low cost airline established in 1985. The airline is headquartered at Dublin Airport and has its primary bases at Dublin Airport and London Stansted Airport. With a fleet seize of over 300, all being Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the airline serves over 165 destinations on over 1100 routes. Ryanair is the name known for the low cost and has seen a rapid expansion after the deregulation of the European aviation industry in 1997.
